About the TeamWake Forest Rowing Club is an entirely student-run organization founded in 1998. The team has been a serious competitor at the club level in regattas throughout the southeast for the past 22 years, as well as at the national level.
Not only does our program allow members to excel competitively and to hone their rowing technique and skills, but it also fosters an environment that is conducive to finding a home at Wake Forest, among supportive teammates and friends. We strongly encourage potential rowers, alumni, and anyone else who has questions about the program to fill out the form to the right. WFU Club Rowing is open both to experienced rowers and those who've never set foot in a boat. As long as you're willing to put in the effort, we'll teach you everything you need to know to be a successful rower. Where do we row?We practice on Salem Lake which is about a 15 minute drive from campus. The team takes a van to practice each morning. When it's too cold to row on the lake, we hold erg practices in the Sutton Center.
